Since 1842, the New York Philharmonic has played a vital role in the musical life of our nation and the world, performing in 58 countries on five continents. To highlight its distinguished history, orchestra and staff, Rolling Orange redesigned the About Us section with a project focus on site architecture review, redesign, content revisions and the creation of an orchestra history timeline. Support from their patrons is vital to this distinguished Orchestra’s ongoing success. To showcase member benefits and the many different ways to give to the orchestra, Rolling Orange worked closely with the NY Philharmonic Development staff to revise the site architecture, refresh the design, and streamline the copy. To assist patrons with their concert research and ticket selection, Rolling Orange redesigned the event detail page to make it more streamlined and user friendly.

Chris Adams brings almost 20 years of art direction experience to Rolling Orange. He has done print and interactive design for consumer products, as well as for medical and higher education institutions. Chris began his career working in-house at agencies in Minneapolis, where he created product branding, corporate identities, and package design. He later moved to Santa Cruz and worked as an in-house designer at RockShox, the world-renowned mountain bike equipment brand, and then as an independent designer developing print campaigns and websites for Santa Cruz Snowboards. Chris also collaborated with in-house creative staff at Electronic Arts to develop the EA Sports BIG brand. A brief stint on Kauai, Hawaii led to further experience with the Web, identity, and retail design.

Now back in San Francisco, Chris has fully committed himself to the online world at Rolling Orange. He has designed elegant websites for Santa Clara University, Stanford University, the Stanford School of Medicine, and Yale. His future goals are to become an expert in mobile Web design and to ride all of the world’s great mountain bike trails.
